Polyvision’s Genk, Belgium and Okmulgee, Oklahoma manufacturing facilities are deeply rooted in the development and production of our revolutionary CeramicSteel surface, the core of our product portfolio. An AllianceWall employee discovered the potential of CeramicSteel as a dry erase writing surface and production of CeramicSteel for whiteboard applications began.

Polyvision’s Surface Imaging capabilities were enhanced through new digital printing technologies in Genk, Belgium.

Teach for India
Polyvision launched donations to Teach for India, providing whiteboards & chalkboards to under-resourced classrooms.

Klassen transformeren | India
De samenwerking van Polyvision met Teach for India is een voorbeeld van het streven van het bedrijf om de volgende generatie leiders te vormen. Sinds 2015 heeft Polyvision honderden CeramicSteel whiteboards en krijtborden gedoneerd aan deelnemende scholen in zeven steden in India, en sindsdien wordt de samenwerking met Teach for India jaarlijks voortgezet. Door de uitdagingen die ontstaan door ondoeltreffende schrijfborden van dichtbij te zien, wilde Polyvision het klaslokaallandschap veranderen in scholen die hun duurzame en langdurige schrijfoppervlakken het meest nodig hadden. Met de bijdragen van Polyvision is het doel om de onderwijsongelijkheid in India te verkleinen en de leeromgeving te verbeteren, zodat er toekomstige leiders gevormd kunnen worden.
Een schoon oppervlak | Okmulgee, Oklahoma
Leerlingen en leerkrachten van Oklahoma ACE High School waren enthousiast over de installatie van hypermoderne whiteboards in hun klaslokalen, waarmee ze een schone lei kregen voor leren en creativiteit. De productievestiging in Okmulgee schonk de whiteboards die nu doorheen de klaslokalen en andere leeromgevingen zijn geplaatst. Zulke eenvoudige toevoegingen kunnen een groot verschil maken in de leerervaring van een student.
Moderne toevoegingen | Amana Academy, Atlanta, GA
Polyvision hecht waarde aan en ondersteunt onderwijssystemen en studenten, zowel lokaal als internationaal. Deze toewijding leidde tot een samenwerking met de lokale charterschool Amana Academy in Atlanta, waarbij verschillende middelen werden gedoneerd. Sinds 2005 boekt de academie succes in het onderwijs en is zij de eerste charterschool voor kleuter- tot en met achtste klas in Fulton County. Dankzij financiële en materiële donaties van lokale en nationale bedrijven en organisaties kan Amana Academy haar leerlingen een unieke onderwijservaring bieden.
Verschillende CeramicSteel whiteboards en interactieve borden hebben inmiddels hun plaats gevonden in veel klaslokalen van de school, evenals andere kantoorbenodigdheden. De nieuwe whiteboards en tools vormen een waardevolle aanvulling op het uitstekende onderwijs dat al plaatsvindt op Amana Academy.
Vooruit met STEM | Okmulgee, Oklahoma
Door de educatieve samenwerking met Okmulgee ACE High School in 2016 werkt de Okmulgee-fabriek eraan om het leren opnieuw vorm te geven door studenten kennis te laten maken met lokale carrièremogelijkheden en mentorschap te bieden aan jongeren die hun toekomstopties nog verkennen. Sinds de start van dit partnerschap krijgen leerlingen uit de voorlaatste en laatste klas elk jaar een rondleiding in de grote productiefaciliteit voor een diepgaand inzicht in de wereld van wetenschap, technologie, engineering en wiskunde (STEM). Deze ervaring, die lovende reacties ontvangt van studenten, leerkrachten en zelfs de superintendent van Okmulgee Public Schools, geeft lokale jongeren de kans om STEM-toepassingen in de praktijk te zien.
Maatschappelijke Betrokkenheid
Van klaslokalen tot voedselbanken – Polyvision is zich bewust van het belang om iets terug te doen voor onze lokale en nationale gemeenschappen en stelt haar middelen graag ter beschikking aan goede doelen. Zo werken we samen met een naburige school in Oklahoma, waar we mentorschap bieden aan studenten, en doneren we aan scholen binnen onze gemeenschappen.

Polyvision ondersteunt ook actief lokale liefdadigheidsinitiatieven, waaronder voedsel-, kleding- en speelgoedinzamelacties op al onze locaties wereldwijd. De organisatie moedigt medewerkers aan om zich in te zetten voor gemeenschapsprojecten en activiteiten die hen persoonlijk aanspreken, zoals sponsorlopen, fietstochten en vrijwilligerswerk in de buurt.
