Making Sustainable Choices
PolyVision believes that sustainability is an important business practice in today’s global economy. In line with this belief, we strive for continuous improvement in all areas of environmental stewardship – responsible use of raw materials and natural resources, manufacturing processes and operation of all facilities – to reduce the impact of our activities on the environment. In the end, we believe we are all in this together, working to protect and cultivate the world we live in to make more sustainable choices.
All PolyVision facilities are compliant with international standards and certified for Quality, Environment, Health and Safety. Our environmental goals aim to reduce and manage our global environment footprint in the areas of VOC emission, water use, waste output and CO2 emission.
• Quality Management – ISO 9001:2015

Third-party environmental certification assures customers and end users that the products they select support healthy indoor air quality and do not emit harmful chemicals into the environment. PolyVision e3 CeramicSteel, which contains no VOCs and is 99.9% recyclable, is the only CeramicSteel surface to achieve global Cradle to Cradle Certified™ Bronze level. The Cradle to Cradle program focuses on the characteristics of sustainable materials, products and systems. The process places major emphasis on the human and ecological health impacts of a product’s ingredients as well as its ability of that product to be truly recycled or safely composted. The type of energy used to create a product, water quantity and quality and social responsibility are also essential sustainability characteristics on which the Cradle to Cradle Certified™ program is focused. Specifying Cradle to Cradle Certified™ products ensures that your materials truly walk the walk for human and environment.
PolyVision e3 CeramicSteel is also certified by SCS Global Services as Indoor Advantage Gold™. Indoor Advantage Gold certification assures that building material products support a healthy indoor environment by meeting strict indoor air quality (IAQ) chemical emission limits for volatile organic compounds (VOCs). To be certified, products must be tested by independent labs for compliance with CDPH/EHLB Standard Method V1-1 for VOC emissions of concerns. (Paints, coatings, sealants and adhesives must also meet VOC content requirement in addition to the IAQ emission standard.) In the United States, specifying e3 may qualify your products for LEED® points.
