The Leader In Ceramicsteel Manufacturing And Architectural Systems Firm Discuss Plans To Provide State-of-the-art Solutions For Public Spaces.

Atlanta, GA — Polyvision Corporation and Gordon, Inc. today announce plans to combine their expertise to provide highly durable architectural wall panels and systems for the North American market. The two companies are currently finalizing details for this new relationship.

This partnership combines the expertise of Gordon’s engineered wall solutions with Polyvision’s durable, high-quality CeramicSteel panels. CeramicSteel is resistant to scratches, stains, bacteria and graffiti, making it ideal for public spaces like airports, train stations, sports arenas, corridors, and medical facilities. Gordon plans to develop a series of unique wall systems and column cover systems designed specifically for CeramicSteel panels and sheets. Marrying the two together will offer architects and designers more choices for high-performance wall systems that are engineered for easy installation and accompanied by dedicated customer support.

When asked about the partnership between the two companies, Peter Lewchanin, General Manager of Polyvision says, “Polyvision’s unique product offering and ability to play in demanding environments along with Gordon’s market expertise and engineering background make this an ideal collaboration. We are excited about the opportunities this will generate for both businesses.”

“I have known the Polyvision brand and CeramicSteel product for almost twenty years,” says Ron Rice, Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Gordon Inc. “Gordon is delighted to be at the table with Polyvision with the opportunity to bring to market the extraordinary benefits of CeramicSteel with Gordon’s engineered wall and column cover solutions. This product and engineering combination will deliver a well-conceived product with long-lasting benefits for high traffic public spaces.”

Since the 1950s, subway stations, airports, and hospitals from New York to Moscow have been cladding their walls with porcelain-enameled steel sheets and panels produced by Polyvision. From unique art compositions to single colors, architects across the globe have been using CeramicSteel to beautify public spaces. In 2015, Polyvision enhanced its ability to print on CeramicSteel through the investment of a state-of-the-art digital printer. This latest venture strengthens Polyvision’s architectural cladding business by providing all-inclusive wall solutions.
